The Grapes

The distinct grape varieties made famous by the great Champagne houses of France take centre stage in this blend. The ancient shale soils on the South Facing slopes of Alvis Drift’s Thornlands” vineyards produce outstanding Pinot Noir and Chardonnay which are the cornerstone of Alvis Drift’s sparkling wine portfolio. The Alvi’s Drift Pinot Noir – Chardonnay Brut is a wine created for summertime enjoyment, a wine to celebrate good times, great friendships and special moments.

The Cellar

The fantastic colour of the Pinot Noir on Alvis Drift ensures that only freerun juice is required to create the vibrant pink hue on this wine. While the focus is to showcase fresh and clean apple and strawberry flavours from each grape, the wine is left several months on the lees to develop a fuller mouthfeel.
